<p>
Washington followed up that Week 1 loss to Philadelphia with three straight-up wins in its next four games. It has failed to cover in a loss to Kansas City on the road and in a tight victory against San Francisco at home in its last two games to fall to 2-3 against the spread. The total has gone OVER or ended as a PUSH in three of the Redskins’ last four games after staying UNDER 49.5 points in that 30-17 loss to the Eagles as one-point home underdogs.

As Kirk Cousins goes so does Washington’s offense and, for the most part, he has been effective at moving the ball down the field through the air. The six-year veteran has completed 66.5 percent of his 158 passing attempts for 1,334 yards and nine touchdowns against two interceptions. His favorite target so far has been running back Chris Thompson with 18 catches for 340 yards and two scores. The Redskins are ranked eighth in the NFL in passing and sixth in total yards gained.

Philadelphia’s lone loss of the season came in Week 2 against Kansas City on the road. With last Thursday’s impressive 28-23 road victory against Carolina as three-point underdogs, the Eagles have now won their last four games SU while going 3-1 ATS. The total went OVER 43.5 points against the Panthers and it has gone OVER in four of their last five games. They are 2-0 SU (1-1 ATS) at home this season.

Carson Wentz is in his second year as Philadelphia’s starting quarterback and he appears to be getting better each and every week. Against Carolina, he completed 16-of-30 attempts for 222 yards and three touchdowns. Tight end Zach Ertz has been his top receiver with 34 receptions for 405 yards and four touchdowns. LeGarrette Blount has anchored the running game with a team-high 390 yards rushing on 70 carries. Washington Redskins at Philadelphia Eagles Week 7 ATS Prediction

Washington has played rather well this season overall, but it will now have to face a red-hot division rival on the road in the prime time lights of Monday Night Football. While the Redskins have gotten the best of things in this matchup in recent years, trends tend to turn around quickly in the highly competitive NFC East. The memories of five-straight losses to Washington (SU and ATS) before that opening-day victory linger as Philly pulls off the season sweep this year both SU and ATS.
