This Sunday’s NFL slate saves the best for last with a NFC East showdown between the 11-1 Dallas Cowboys and the 8-4 New York Giants. Kickoff from MetLife Stadium is set for 8:30 p.m. (ET) and this division clash will be broadcast nationally on NBC.

<h2>
Dallas at New York Game Overview<br />
</h2>
<p>
The Cowboys started this season with a tight one-point loss the New York at home in a game that ended as PUSH. It has been nothing but sunshine and roses for Dallas ever since with a straight-up 11-game winning streak. The one concern for bettors is a 0-2 record ATS in its last two outings in tight wins against Washington at home and Minnesota on the road. The total has stayed UNDER in six of its last nine games.
</p>
<p>
A couple of close calls in their last two outings could raise a red flag on a team that continues to find ways to win behind rookie quarterback Dak Prescott and rookie running back Ezekiel Elliott. The combined margin of victory for the Cowboys over their last five wins is just 22 points so I would look for another tight battle this Sunday night between two teams that know each other extremely well. Aside of the revenge factor for that first loss, the motivation level for Dallas remains rather high in pursuit of the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoffs.

<p>
New York is coming off its worst loss of the season in a 24-14 defeat at the hands of Pittsburgh in a game that was not as close as the score might indicate. The Giants’ six-game SU winning streak came to an end and they have now failed to cover in two of their last three games. The closing total line has stayed UNDER in their last four contests.
</p>
<p>
Veteran quarterback Eli Manning still remains the key to this offense’s success and failures. Last Sunday against the Steelers he completed 24-of-39 attempts for 195 yards and two scores to go along with two interceptions and two sacks. The Giants got very little production from a ground game that is ranked 31st in the NFL with 56 yards on 14 carries. While New York’s defense has really stepped up its game this season with a points-allowed average (19.8) that is ranked eighth in the league, a groin injury to Jason Pierre-Paul could be a major concern if he cannot go on Sunday night.

Dallas at New York Game Betting Trends<br />
</h2>
<ul>
<li>
The Cowboys are 5-1 ATS in their last six road games, but they fall to 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 games against a team with a SU winning record. The total has stayed UNDER in their last five December games.
</li>
<li>
The Giants have covered ATS in their last four home games against a team with a SU winning record on the road, but they are 1-3-1 ATS in their last five games following a SU loss. The total has gone OVER in seven of their last 10 games against the NFC East.
</li>
<li>
The series is tied at 2-2 SU in the past four meetings, but New York comes into this game with a 4-0 edge ATS. The total stayed UNDER 47.5 points in the Giants’ 20-19 victory in Week 1 after going OVER in the last seven meetings between these two bitter rivals.

Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants Game Prediction

Dallas will be looking to avenge its only loss of the season, but this game means far more to New York as far as the postseason picture is concerned. The Giants still have Detroit on the schedule followed by two road games in the division, so a win on Sunday night would go a long way towards securing one of two wild card spots in the NFC.

Defense was the name of the game in Week 1 in what was a hard-fought battle for all four quarters so I am going to take New York and the three points in what should be another tight matchup between these two bitter foes.
