<h2>
Dallas at Houston Game Overview<br />
</h2>
<p>
The Cowboys are coming off a last-second 26-24 victory against Detroit last Sunday as 2.5-point home favorites. This evened their record to 2-2 straight-up, but after failing to cover against the Lions, they are 1-3 against the spread. The total went OVER 44 points in that game after staying UNDER in their first three contests. Dallas is 2-3-1 ATS in their last six road games with the total staying UNDER in five of those games.
</p>
<p>
Dak Prescott has come under fire for his inconsistent play, but he looked sharp against the Lions with 255 yards passing and two touchdown throw against no interceptions. On the year, he has completed 61.7 percent of his 115 passing attempts for 753 yards and four touchdowns. Cole Beasley leads the team in receiving with 16 catches for 185 yards with Ezekiel Elliott leading the way on the ground with 426 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 73 carries.
</p>
<p>
Houston began the new season with high expectations, but a 0-3 start both SU and ATS tempered things quite a bit. The Texans ended the skid last Sunday with a dramatic 37-34 overtime victory against Indianapolis as slight one-point favorites on the road. The total went well OVER the closing 48.5-point line. It also went OVER 44.5 points in a 27-22 loss to the New York Giants in Week 3 as six-point home favorites.
</p>
<p>
One of the big reasons for the early optimism for Texan fans was the return of Deshaun Watson after missing more than half of last season due to injury. His slow start mirrored the team’s, but last week’s performance against the Colts could have things pointed in the right direction. He threw for 375 yards and two touchdowns while completing 29 of his 42 passing attempts. He added another 41 yards and a score on six rushing attempts.

Dallas at Houston Prediction 10/07/2018

You have to give Dallas credit for pulling out last week's win against Detroit, but there are still some significant issues with this team in all three phases of the game. The Cowboys have played their best ball this season in Big D, so winning SU on the road could be a reach. Houston is far from out of the woods in a disappointing start, but playing this game at home coming off a big win is a major plus.

Home field will be a significant factor between two teams that are not all that familiar with one another. I will lay the three points and take the Texans both SU and ATS.
