<p>
Alabama owns a six-game winning streak in the series with Texas A&M, but it's only 3-3 against the spread over that span because it's favored by so much so often. The Crimson Tide are favored by a bunch of points again for Saturday afternoon's SEC West battle with the Aggies in College Station. Which way are we going here for our free college football pick?

<h2>
Tide vs. Aggies Set-Up<br />
</h2>
<p>
Alabama is 5-0 on the season, ranked No. 1 in this week's AP poll, heading into this showdown with the Aggies. Most recently, the Tide defeated Ole Miss two weeks ago 59-31; they then had last week off.
</p>
<p>
Alabama trailed the Rebels two weeks ago 10-7 after one quarter, then used a 38-0 run spanning the halves to take control. Unfortunately for their financial backers, the Tide came up a bit short of covering the spread as 36-point favorites.
</p>
<p>
On the day Alabama produced 575 yards of total offense, and while the Tide defense allowed 477 yards of Ole Miss offense, including 280 on the ground, most of that came in “prevent” mode.
</p>
<p>
Alabama opened this season with a 42-3 win over Duke and opened SEC play with a 47-23 victory over South Carolina. The Tide covered 33 points against the Blue Devils but couldn't cover 25 points against the Gamecocks. So Alabama is 3-0 SU but only 1-2 ATS against Power 5 opponents this season.

<p>
Texas A&M, meanwhile, is 3-2 and ranked No. 24 this week. Most recently, two weeks ago, the Aggies beat Arkansas 31-27. They also then had last week off.
</p>
<p>
A&M led the Razorbacks early 14-3 but trailed 24-21 through three quarters. The Aggies then took the lead for good on a short Kelland Mond touchdown pass with 12 minutes to go and hung on from there.
</p>
<p>
Unfortunately for its financial backers, Texas A&M never came close to covering the spread as a 23-point favorite.
</p>
<p>
On the day, the Aggies got out-gained by Arkansas 396-341.
</p>
<p>
Earlier this season, Texas A&M lost at Clemson 24-10 but pulled off a back-door cover as a 16-point underdog. And three weeks ago, the Aggies lost outright at home to Auburn 28-20 as four-point favorites. So A&M is 1-2 both SU and ATS against Power 5 foes this season.
</p>

Alabama at Texas A&M Prediction 10/13/2019

Alabama's betting record on the road is pretty good, and it would be even better if the Tide hadn't given up a late, meaningless touchdown at South Carolina a few weeks ago. Meanwhile, A&M needed a very late score for that cover against Clemson, lost to Auburn, and struggled to beat a bad Arkansas outfit. So we like Alabama here, playing on the road, where spreads tend to be friendlier.
