Point Spread: Warriors -6
Total: 219.5

Following the first two games of the series, not many would have thought that the Houston Rockets would be in the position they are. The Golden State Warriors held a 2-0 series advantage as the series shifted to Houston. The Rockets pulled off two huge wins, and now they go back to Golden State for game five. It is pretty incredible how the Rockets have been able to battle back and even the series. The Warriors are looking to take back control of the series while the Rockets are hoping to take a 3-2 series lead for the second consecutive year over the Warriors. The Rockets won game four 112-108 on the back of James Harden's 38 points and Eric Gordon's 20 points. The Warriors are the favorite for game five with the line at -6. The over/under for the game is 219.5 points.

Harden Controls Houston

Houston will go as far as Harden takes them. The reigning MVP has been great so far this series but he cannot have an off game, or the Rockets will lose. The guard is averaging 35.8 points a game so far this series and is shooting the ball at a 35.8 percent clip from beyond the arc. The Warriors have been unable to stop him at any level on the floor, and with Harden scoring at least 38 points in each of their wins, the Warriors need to figure out a plan sooner rather than later. The Rockets supporting cast got involved in game four as each play scored in double figures to help the team win the game and tie up the series.

Warriors Look to Stop the Bleeding

The Warriors had a firm grasp on the series leading 2-0, but the Rockets won both games at home. Houston now is looking to take a 3-2 series lead for the second year in a row, and the outlook wouldn't be good this time around. Kevin Durant, like Harden, is the man that really pushes the Warriors. Durant is averaging 36.0 points a game and is shooting at a 44.2 percent clip from beyond the arc. If he can keep that up, then the Warriors shouldn't have a problem dispatching the Rockets. Once Steph Curry and Klay Thompson join the fun for the Warriors the series is going to look mighty tough to win for the Rockets. The Warriors are still the seasoned champions, and we should expect them to play like the reigning champions as well.

Rockets at Warriors Prediction 05/08/2019

The Warriors need a win in this one more than the Rockets do for many reasons. The Warriors need one to stop the bleeding, and the Rockets need one to keep their momentum. If the Rockets win, the scariest part for the Warriors would be having to go back out on the road to face the Rockets and have to win two games. The Rockets are in control of this series now, but I expect the Warriors to come away with a win and cover the spread.
