<p>
The Portland Trail Blazers are coming off back-to-back losses to Dallas and OKC but will stop at home to take on the Golden State Warriors. Golden State has rattled off four-straight wins, as they remain atop the Western Conference with a 40-15 record. The Trailblazers have jumped up to fourth in the West with a 33-23 record. This is an entirely different Portland team at home with a 23-8 record. On the road, they are just 10-15. When you take on a team like the Warriors, you need every advantage you can get. Expect the Moda Center to be rocking on Wednesday night, as tipoff is set for 9:30 p.m. The Warriors are an 8 point favorite in this game on the road.

<h2>
Familiar Foes<br />
</h2>
<p>
This game will mark the fourth time that Portland and Golden State will faceoff this season. Back in November Portland lost in Golden State, 125-97, when Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson combined for 63 points. They then faced each other in back-to-back games at the end of December, when Portland won in overtime at Oracle 110-109. Jusuf Nurkic went off for 27 points and 12 rebounds, to go along with 24 points from McCollum and 21 points from Lillard. They then fell short in the second game, 115-105, despite getting 40 points from Lillard. This will be the first time that Portland will have to face a fully healthy Warriors lineup that now includes DeMarcus Cousins.

Golden State Tough to Stop<br />
</h2>
<p>
Not many teams can match up to the Warriors, but don’t sleep on the matchups between Lillard and Curry, as well as, McCollum against Thompson. Lillard is having another spectacular season averaging 26.3 points, as he is coming off back-to-back 30-point outings. McCollum is second on the team averaging 21.1 points, as the Trailblazers will need him to return to form after a rough couple of games. The five-year veteran is the second-best scoring option behind Lillard by a long shot and shot a combined 11-of-37 in the losses to Dallas and OKC. Nurkic is a solid center option averaging 15.1 points, 10.2 rebounds and 1.5 blocks, as he’ll have the duties of guarding Cousins. Portland decided to try and bring in some more scoring before the trade deadline by acquiring Rodney Hood from Cleveland.
</p>
<p>
They got him for a decent price, only giving up Nik Stauskus, Wade Baldwin and two future second-round picks. Hood is still getting integrated into the system but did score 14 points in his first game with Portland.

Warriors at Trail Blazers Prediction 02/13/2019

The Trailblazers are going to need tremendous defense and other scorers to rise to the occasion to take down Steve Kerr's Warriors team. Curry and Durant both lead this team in scoring, as they get roughly 56 points a night between the two. You then have Thompson who averages 22.1 points a night, Cousins who averages 14.1 points, and then Draymond Green at the forward position. We're predicting this to be a pretty close game. The Trailblazers have played the Warriors close in their last two matchups. Portland enters this game with no injuries, as Andre Iguodala remains day-to-day for Golden State. Bet on Golden State to roll in this game.
