The Houston Rockets put themselves in a much better position after taking game three on the road against the Golden State Warriors to even the series. The Rockets did not want to find themselves down in a 3-0 hole to the defending champs and have one more game at home before heading back to Golden State. If the Rockets want to win this series, they are going to have to win game four to even up the series. Going back to Golden State with a 3-1 deficit might be insurmountable with how reliable the Warriors are at home. The Rockets are favored in this one by 1.5 points. The over/under for the game is 221.5.

Rockets Have Momentum

The Rockets aren't as good this season, but they've proven throughout this series that they're still capable of challenging the Warriors. After two severe losses on the road in the first two games, they bounced back with a win in game three to keep their season alive. They'll need another win in game four, or it's going to be really tough for them. The Warriors have a history with blowing the 3-1 lead, but the Rockets can't expect that to happen again. Aside from another strong game from Harden, the Rockets also need someone else to step up and help him out. In game three Eric Gordon scored 30 points, while Iman Shumpert provided a spark with 10 points. Whether it's them, or someone else, the Rockets need solid performances from some of their role players in game four. They almost have to win this game to keep their hopes alive.

Warriors Need Others to Step Up

A lot of the talk circles around which player on the Warriors is better. Is it Steph Curry or Kevin Durant? It is pretty apparent that the Warriors would not be having the success they are without Kevin Durant on the roster. Through the first three games, Durant has averaged 36.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists in this series, while Curry has been struggling. Curry has scored just over 18 points a game and is shooting only 25 percent from behind the arc. Curry also missed a dunk late in game three that sealed their fate and lost it. The Warriors are going to be relying on Durant to carry them, and if Curry gets hot then no one can beat this team, we just haven't seen it yet.

Warriors at Rockets Prediction 05/06/2019

Whoever wins this game will take the upper hand in the series. Whether the Warriors extend their lead to 3-1 or the Rockets tie it up, both teams would gain the momentum. With a win, the Rockets would feel pretty good as the series heads back to Golden State whereas the Warriors would be pretty shocked. A Warriors would give them complete control of the series and would force the Rockets to win three games in a row. I think Curry gets hot tonight, take the Warriors to win and secure the over.
