The Hawks let Game 1 slip away in the third quarter on their way to a 114-107 setback as 5.5-point road underdogs this past Sunday. The total went OVER the closing 209.5-point line and it has gone OVER in four of their last six games. Atlanta closed out the regular season with a 5-2 record against the spread in its last seven road games starting with a 104-100 loss to the Wizards on March 22 as an eight-point underdog on the road.

Washington won the Southeast Division this season with a straight-up record of 49-33 that included a 30-11 record on its home court. Prior to Sunday’s victory, the Wizards had gone 3-5 both SU and ATS in their previous eight regular season games with the total staying UNDER in three of their final four games of the year. They are 3-1 ATS in their last four games played at home with the total going OVER in three of those contests.

John Wall had a very productive start to this series with a game-high 32 points while hitting 12 of his 24 shots from the field. He also added 14 assists to post the double-double. Bradley Beal chipped in 22 points and all five Washington starters ended Game 1 in double figures. The Wizards also struggled from beyond the arc with a 28.6 shooting percentage from three-point range. They are the fifth in the league when it comes to scoring points with an average of 109.2 PPG, but they fall to 21st at the other end of the court with a points-allowed average of 107.4.
