Blue Jays-Angels MLB Betting Preview<br />
</h2>
<p>
Toronto grabbed the opener of this series Friday night 4-3. The Blue Jays spotted Los Angeles the first two runs of the game and still trailed 3-1 through six innings. But Toronto then got a two-out, three run home run from Bo Bichette in the top of the seventh to take the lead and hung on from there. The Jays won Friday as +125 underdogs on the dime line and the game played under a total of nine runs. Earlier this week Toronto swept three games at Kansas City. So the Blue Jays ride a four-game winning streak into Saturday. The Angels, meanwhile, took two of three games at Seattle earlier this week. Last year Toronto took four of seven games from Los Angeles.

Lefty <a class="advblue" href="https://www.sportsbettingstats.com/mlb/pitcherlog/79634&quot; title="Tyler Anderson Pitching Game Stats">Anderson</a> is 1/1 on quality starts this season. Last Sunday he held Oakland scoreless on four hits through six innings of a 6-0 Los Angeles victory, throwing 93 pitches to get 18 outs. Last year pitching for the Dodgers Anderson hit 17/28 on quality starts, as LA played 20-8 with him. This will be Anderson’s first start against Toronto since 2016, which is a long time ago. <a class="advblue" href="https://www.sportsbettingstats.com/mlb/pitcherlog/79521&quot; title="Jose Berrios Pitching Game Logs">Berrios</a> is 0/1 on quality starts this year. Monday he got clipped for eight runs and nine hits through 5 2/3 innings of a 9-5 Blue Jays loss to the Royals. Last year Berrios hit 16/32 on quality starts, as Toronto played 23-9 with him. In his only start against the Angels last season Berrios got bombed for six runs in less than three innings of a game the Jays came from behind to win 11-10.

Toronto Blue Jays at LA Angels Prediction 4/8/23

Anderson might own the edge in this pitching match-up but we expect a bounce-back performance from Berrios, following a rough outing last time out. From there Toronto owns edges in the splits with the sticks and in the bullpen comparison. Plus, the Blue Jays are catching an underdog price. We’re taking Toronto Saturday night.
