Seattle Mariners vs. Texas Rangers Prediction

The Mariners had lost two in a row before winning yesterday against the Rangers. They had only totaled four runs in the two losses before scoring 10 against Texas in Game 2 of this division series. Seattle is chasing the Wild Card 3.5 games out of the 2nd spot and they are out of the AL West race. The Rangers have lost three of their last four games and with their loss to the Mariners yesterday they fell to .500. They are also chasing the Wild Card three games out. The Rangers have given up double-digits in runs in two of their last three games. Leake has been solid in his first two starts for the Mariners and I look for him to have a good start tonight. Perez has been given a lot of run support and Texas is 7-0 in his last seven starts even though opposing batters are hitting over .300 against him this season. He will not get a lot of support in this game and get roughed up and the Mariners will take this game.
