Minnesota Twins vs. Kansas City Royals Prediction

The Twins snapped their three-game losing streak in their last game and they recently lost two of three games to the Royals. They are pretty much out of the AL Central race 11 games back of the red hot Cleveland Indians, who have won 14 in a row, but they are still in the 2nd Wild Card with a ½ game lead over the L.A. Angels and one game lead over the Baltimore Orioles. The Royals have won three of their last four games and they are 2.5 games back of Minnesota in the Wild Card. Kansas City has had issues at the plate this season, but in their three wins in their last four games they have totaled 25 runs. Gibson has been pitching well as of late and the Twins have won his last five starts against the Royals. Gaviglio will have a decent first outing for his new club, but Gibson will have the better one and the Twins will win the first game of this series.
