Cincinnati Reds vs. New York Mets Prediction

The Reds have lost the first two games of this NL series where they have struggled on the hill and at the plate being outscored 12-3. They are out of the playoff race with the 3rd fewest wins in the NL and that is not a surprise with a pitching staff that ranks dead last in the Majors in team ERA. New York is also out of the playoff race, but they have won three straight and four of their last five games. While the Reds are 20 games under .500 and have dropped the first two games of this series they are still the betting favorite tonight. Montero got the better of Baily when they matched up in Cincinnati on August 30th and that will happen in the Big Apple tonight. The Mets will win their 4th in row with Montero on the hill and take this game and will go for the series sweep tomorrow.
