Chicago Cubs vs. Washington Nationals Prediction

This game is the winner take all Game 5 and the winner will face the Dodgers in the NLCS. The Cubs were shut out in Game 4 and they have only scored two runs in their last two games. Hendricks was lights out in the Game 1 win for Chicago and he will have a good outing in this series clinching game. Tanner Roark or Gio Gonzlaez will likely get the starting nod for the Nationals, as the starter has not been decided. Washington has won two of the last three games of this series where they scored 11 runs in the wins and only one in the loss. The lineup will struggle tonight to get to Hendricks, but the Cubs will also have trouble scoring runs no matter who starts for the Nationals. Hendricks will have the better outing between the starters and like Game 6 of last season’s NLCS and Game 7 of the World Series he will lead Chicago to the win.
