A promising season is starting to slip away with four losses in their last five games by the RedBlacks who will travel Montreal battle the Alouettes on Thursday night at Percival Molson Stadium. The CFL odds board has Ottawa as the slimmest of favorites laying 1 point on the road. The total line hit the board at 51.5, but has been bet down to 50.5. Kickoff for this Week 11 game is 7:30PM ET.

Ottawa’s loss to BC last week dropped its record to an even 4-4-1 SU on the year and it has now lost four of its last five games SU while going a costly 0-5 ATS. The one thing in the RedBlacks’ favor was the return of quarterback Trevor Harris after missing time with an injury. He shook off some early rust to throw for 352 yards and one touchdown against the Lions while completing 76.7 percent of his 30 attempts. Another week of practice should only make things better for one of the top gunslingers in the CFL.

Montreal’s inconsistencies on both sides of the ball cost them another game in a uninspired 32-18 loss to Winnipeg as a slight 2.5-point home favorite last week. The Alouettes have now lost six of their first nine games while averaging less than 15 points a game in those six setbacks.
