We also like the idea that the Dodgers will bat nine times, so we'll play LA against the run line.

We give Urias the check-mark in the pitching match-up, and Los Angeles owns edges in both the bullpen comparison and the splits with the sticks. So we like the Dodgers here, again. Also, while LA is scoring runs – 18 in this Series so far – the Rays are struggling in that department. So we'll take a chance and play the Dodgers against the run line.

We'd give Snell the check-mark in the pitching match-up, but he'll probably really go against the Dodgers bullpen. So we'll call that factor a wash. Meanwhile, we give Los Angeles a solid edge with the sticks and in the momentum department. We're playing LA for our free MLB pick on Game 2.

If they can keep their bullpen from getting too involved, the Braves should be in good shape. Kershaw gets the check-mark in the pitching match-up, and the Dodgers own advantages in both the splits with the sticks and the bullpen comparison. Plus, it looks like they've got momentum on their side. So we're definitely leaning toward Los Angeles. Also, of the Dodgers' 10 wins this season with Kershaw, nine have come by at least two runs. So we'll play LA against the run line for our free MLB pick here.

The Tampa Bay bullpen posted a 3.37 ERA this season, along with a 1.19 WHIP and a 3.02 K/BB ratio. Numbers like those help this unit rank among the top three bullpens in Baseball this year. Rays relievers have also combined to allow just two runs through eight innings of work in this ALCS.
