The Vancouver Whitecaps (5-5-5) are coming into this match after a really solid 2-1 win on the road against the Colorado Rapids. They took an early lead at the 17th minute and doubled that at the 39th. Their opponents did score at the 41st minute, but Vancouver managed to hold them off and grabbed three much-needed points. They took the lead at the end of the first half and scored twice in a nine-minute span in the second half. They really needed that win, as before that they had four consecutive losses for the MLS. Orlando City is now sitting at the 6th spot of the Eastern Conference with 19 points, having scored 22 goals against 23 conceded. They have been pretty unstable on the road so far (2-3-0), where they have only defeated Colorado and Philadelphia. However, they have kept just a single clean sheet on the road and have conceded at least twice on three occasions.
