Liverpool has been in really top for in the most crucial part of the season, as they are now riding at the top of a six-match undefeated streak in all competitions. They have their eyes set on the Champions League though, but they are also looking to finish at least at the third spot of the Premier League. They are now up against a tricky task, as they will be hosted by bottom-feeders West Brom on Saturday, who are looking to climb from the bottom spot of the Premier League.

West Brom (4-18-12) are coming into this match after pulling a massive upset against Manchester United last week, whom they defeated by 1-0 in Manchester. It was a balanced first half between the two sides, and if anything, it was Manchester United who was more active in the second. However, West Brom managed to score a golden goal at the 73rd minute with Rodriguez and held on to their lead till the end. That win put an end to their brutal, ten-match win-less streak they had in all competitions prior to that, with their last league victory dating back to mid-January. Despite the win, West Brom remains at the bottom of the Premier League with 24 points, nine points below the red line. That win will surely fill them with confidence, and they will now try to cause back to back upsets at home against Liverpool. West Brom has not been anything special at home (2-7-8), where they haven't won since January 13th (0-5-1). They will be missing Barry, Morrison, and Sturridge in this match, while Chadli, Evans, and Robson-Kanu are still being listed as questionable.

On the other hand, Liverpool (20-4-10) had a much easier job against the visiting Bournemouth over the weekend, whom they destroyed by an easy 0-3 at home. Liverpool took an early lead at the 7th minute with Mane, but the final 0-3 did not come as easy. Bournemouth was playing solid defense, and Liverpool only scored their second goal at the 69th minute and sealed off with a third goal at the stoppage time. Liverpool is now undefeated in each of their last six matches in all competitions (5-0-1), but more importantly, they have reached the Champions League semi-finals. As far as the Premier League is concerned, Liverpool is sitting at the 3rd spot of the league table with 70 points, two points ahead of Tottenham and four points behind Manchester United. To be honest, it doesn't matter if they finish 2nd or 4th, as all three places grant entrance to the Champions League group stage next season. Liverpool will be missing Can, Clyne, Lallana, and Matip, while Lovren and Gomez are doubtful to participate.

Liverpool at West Brom Prediction 04/21/2018

The two teams last met in the round of 32 of the FA Cup, where West Brom pulled a massive upset against Liverpool on the road, when they defeat them by 3-2 and left them out. West Brom also remained undefeated in Liverpool in the first round of the Premier League (0-0). However, they have won just two of the twelve matches as hosts against Liverpool over the years (2-7-2), and none of the last five (0-2-3). Liverpool has a crucial game against Roma coming their way next Tuesday for the semi-finals of the Champions League, so West Brom can easily pull an upset here.
