Manchester United will be feeling upset at this point, as they are coming off a really sad elimination from the Champions League. They will now look to wash off that loss to Sevilla, when they play host to Brighton on Saturday, in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup. Brighton is coming off a loss to Everton, but they have been in solid form for quite a while now, and could maybe be a problem here.

Manchester United are coming into this match after a disappointing loss at home against Sevilla. The two teams were engaged in the round of 16 of the Champions League and had played for a goalless draw in Sevilla a couple of weeks back. It was a great result for United, who just needed to win at home in order to qualify for the quarter-finals. However, they conceded two goals in a four-minute span in the second half (74th and 78th), which stunned them. All they managed to do in the rest of the match was to score a consolation goal at the 84th minute, that practically changed nothing. At least they are still sitting at the 2nd spot of the Premier League. In the previous three rounds of the FA Cup, Manchester United had easily overcome Huddersfield, Yeovil and Derby County, scoring at least twice in each match, while keeping clean sheets in all. They have been solid at home so far in the season, where they have only lost two of their 22 matches in all competitions (18-2-2).

On the other hand, Brighton runs out of luck in their previous match, where Everton hosted them. They were competitive throughout the whole game, but after a goal-less first half, they scored an own goal at the 60th minute. As if that wasn't enough, they saw their opponents increase their lead at the 76th minute, before Brighton were left with ten men at the 80th minute. Everton missed from the penalty spot at the 88th minute, in what was an unlucky match for Brighton. However, that loss put an end to their seven-match undefeated streak prior to that (5-0-2), but they had kept just a single clean sheet in that span. In the previous round of the FA Cup, they easily overcame Coventry by 1-3 at home and had also defeated Middlesbrough by 1-0, after a 1-2 against Crystal Palace. Even so, they have been quite bad on the road so far in the season, where they have won just three of their 17 matches in all competitions (3-9-5). Oddly enough, only two of those seventeen matches featured Over 2.5 Goals.
