They will now have to keep it up against a very competitive Mexico side.

Mexico made a tremendous start in the World Cup when they defeated reigning World Champions Germany by 1-0. They made a statement that they will not fear anybody, but Germany has not been very good overall. In any case, Mexico went on to double their wins against South Korea in Game 2 and was almost qualified. However, in a tragic turn of events, they almost got left out. In their last match against Sweden, they found themselves down by two goals at the hour mark. If Germany would defeat South Korea, then Mexico would be left out. But Germany got an unhappy surprise as they ended up losing to South Korea by 2-0. Even though Mexico fell to Sweden by 0-3, they qualified as 2nd from their group.

Mexico has been in this round in each of the last six editions of the World Cup, and have been eliminated in all six. There is a curse to be broken here, but Mexico got Brazil in the brackets. Brazil is by far the better team here, but I wouldn't be surprised if we saw goals from both sides. Brazil to win by one goal, Over 2.5 Goals and goals from both parties are the best bets in this match.
