The Green Bay Packers will take on the Chicago Bears in a Week 15 divisional matchup. The Bears are currently first in the NFC North at 9-4, with a chance to clinch at home if the Vikings lose to the Seahawks on Monday night. Chicago is coming off their biggest win of the season after taking down the Los Angeles Rams, who are now tied with the Chiefs and Saints at 11-2 on the year. Offensively it was a horrific performance between both the Rams and the Bears in Week 14.

Mitchell Trubisky returned from a two-game absence and was a little rusty completing 16-of-30 pass attempts for 110 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions. Luckily the defense was able to back up his poor passing performance, as the only touchdown of the game came on a 2-yard touchdown pass from Trubisky to backup offensive lineman Bradley Sowell. It was a nice outing for Jordan Howard as well who ran the ball 19 times for 101 yards, marking his first 100-yard performance of the season.

Bears Rolling With 9 Wins

The Monsters of the Midway is back, as Chicago's defense held one of the best offenses in the league to just two field goals and no touchdowns. Jared Goff struggled, completing just 20-of-44 pass attempts for 180 passing yards and four interceptions. Goff also had the football stripped by none other than Khalil Mack, but the Rams were able to recover it. The Rams offense runs through the run game though, and the Bears forced Todd Gurley to be a nonfactor, with just 11 carries for 28 yards.

The Bears did a good job neutralizing Gurley, a lot like the Saints did back in Week 9 when they held Gurley to 13 carries for 68 yards and a touchdown. A tall task when facing the Rams is figuring out a way to keep Aaron Donald out of your backfield. The Bears held Donald to just two tackles, which allowed them to get the run game going. Kyle Fuller recorded his 7th interception of the season, tying himself with Xavien Howard for the most in the league.

The Packers were winners against the Falcons in Week 14 by a score of 34-20. Aaron Rodgers finished the game completing 21-of-32 pass attempts for 196 yards and two touchdowns. Rodgers touchdown pass to Randall Cobb on Sunday was his 359th consecutive attempt without an INT, surpassing Tom Brady’s NFL record (358) set in 2010-11. Rodgers’ current streak now stands at 368. Davante Adams finished the game against the Falcons with 7 receptions for 81 yards and a touchdown, putting himself at 12 on the season which is tied for the league most.

Packers at Bears Prediction 12/16/2018

The last time we saw these two teams play was back in Week 1 when the Bears blew a 20-point lead and Aaron Rodgers returned from injury in the second half and led them to a 24-23 victory. With how well the Bears defense performed against the Rams this past week at home, it's tough to pick against them this week.
