<h2>
Los Angeles at Chicago Game Overview<br />
</h2>
<p>
Los Angeles remains in position to earn the top seed in the NFC playoffs at 11-1 straight-up, but it has been a tough bet for the past several weeks at 2-5-2 against the spread over its last nine games. The total stayed UNDER 54 points in last Sunday’s 30-16 road win against Detroit as 10-point favorites after going OVER in the Rams’ previous three games. They are 3-3 ATS on the road this season.
</p>
<p>
Stopping the Rams has been a major issue for most teams this season with Jared Goff throwing the ball and Todd Gurley running it. This offense is racking up an average of 440 total yard a game and averaging 34.9 points on the scoreboard. Over the last four games, this scoring average has increased to 38.8 points a game, but the defense has allowed 35.8 points a game during the same span.
</p>
<p>
The Bears still have a game and a half lead over Minnesota in the NFC North, but they are coming off their worst outing of the year in a 30-27 overtime loss to the New York Giants as 3.5-point road favorites. This snapped a five-game winning streak both SU and ATS. The total went OVER 43.5 points against New York, and it has gone OVER in four of Chicago's last five games. The Bears return to Soldier Field this Sunday night with a 5-1 record ATS in six previous home games.
</p>
<p>
The big question mark for Sunday night is the playing status of quarterback Mitch Trubisky. He has missed his last two starts with a shoulder injury, and he remains questionable on the latest injury report. Chase Daniel has taken over the starting role with mixed results. After helping the Bears get past Detroit on Thanksgiving, he tossed a pair of interceptions while taking five sacks in the loss to the Giants.

Los Angeles at Chicago Prediction 12/08/2018

The Rams have established themselves as the team to beat in the NFC, but they have not always done it in a convincing fashion with a number of close calls along the way. Chicago was on the road to elite status in the conference, but last Sunday’s stunning loss brought it back to earth.

The play in this one hinges on Trubisky's playing status. With his current "questionable status", I will lay the points and take the Rams to cover.
