Point Spread: Oklahoma City -4.5

<p>
The Miami Heat will meet with the Oklahoma City Thunder Friday night, as the Thunder will look to extend their six-game winning streak. OKC is 7-3 over their last 10 games and 15-11 on the road this season. They are currently 3rd in the Western Conference with a 32-18 record, while the Heat is 7th in the Eastern Conference at 24-25. This just goes to show that the West is more competitive considering Miami and 8th seed Charlotte would be in the playoffs with losing records. The Heat is coming off a loss to the Bulls, as they're 5-5 over the last 10 games and just 11-14 at home this season.

<h2>
Heat With Several Pieces<br />
</h2>
<p>
Miami gets contributions across the board, as they currently have six players that average double figures. If you look at just points, Josh Richardson leads the way for this team averaging 17.3 ppg. Goran Dragic is second on the team with 15.3 ppg and leads the team with 4.9 apg. Dragic has always been a very underrated point guard when he's healthy but unfortunately has only played 14 games this year. Hassan Whiteside down low is a dominant force averaging 12.5 ppg, 12.3 rpg, and 2.3 bpg. The matchup between him and Steven Adams should be fascinating to watch. Just looking at this roster, this Heat team doesn't look like a playoff team on paper. You can say that Whiteside is a borderline star in this league, but perhaps Dwyane Wade is providing some motivation in his last NBA season. Wade has accepted a bench role for the Heat and averages 13.8 ppg, as the curtain begins to close on such an illustrious career. This is a team that is missing a superstar, and they have a few good young pieces to build around like Bam Adebayo (21), Justice Winslow (22) and Josh Richardson (25). Erik Spoelstra is a very unappreciated head coach, as not many coaches could do what he has done with this roster. It'll be interesting to see how this team performs in the second half of the season.

<h2>
Westbrook Rules<br />
</h2>
<p>
This Thunder team is obviously focused around Russell Westbrook, who is playing at an insane level like usual. Westbrook is averaging a triple-double, 21.7 ppg, 10.8 apg, and 10.9 rpg, as he'll be suiting up for the All-Star Game alongside teammate Paul George. George is having a breakout season that is just great to see after the devastating leg injury he suffered with Team USA. On the season George is averaging 27.3 ppg, 4 apg, and 8 rpg. Steven Adams is one of the league's best centers, and the acquisition of Dennis Schroder has been tremendous, as he provides 15.4 ppg off the bench. OKC is one of the best rebounding teams in the league, as they rank 3rdin rebounds (48) and 1stin offensive rebounds (12.3). They also average the most steals per game (10.2), as we're rolling with the Thunder in this Friday night showdown.
