</h2>
<p>
After splitting the first two games of this NBA Finals, Boston grabbed a 2-1 series lead with a 116-100 Game 3 victory at home Wednesday night. The Celtics jumped out to a 10-2 lead, went up by 18 in the second quarter, and led 68-56 at the half. Boston then fell behind to Golden State 83-82 late in the third quarter but quickly recovered and pulled away late, holding the Warriors to just 11 fourth-quarter points, on its way to victory and the cover at -3.5. The Celtics shot 48 percent from the floor Wednesday, outscored Golden State 52-26 in the paint, out-rebounded the Warriors 47-31, and won the turnover battle 17-12. Also, Game 3 sneaked over a total of 214. The big news to come out of Game 3 was the foot injury suffered by Golden State G Steph Curry. He’s listed as probable for Friday, and while he’ll play, how much and how well is up for debate. With Wednesday’s win/cover, Boston is now 14-7 SU, 13-7-1 ATS this postseason. With Wednesday’s loss, the Warriors are now 13-6 SU and 10-9 ATS this postseason. Golden State finished two games ahead of the Celtics in the regular-season standings while the teams split their two-game season series. But we should point out Curry missed most of the game Golden State lost due to a different foot injury.
