Betting Odds

Point Spread: Edmonton -10
Total: 55

<p>
The Blue Bombers have stumbled out of the gate to a straight-up 1-4 start with a 1-3-1 record against the spread. They have averaged 19.6 points a game on offense, while giving up 27 points a game to their opponents. An ineffective Drew Willy was replaced by Matt Nichols at quarterback in last week’s 33-18 loss to Calgary so it remains to be seen which player they will turn to on Wednesday night. No matter which one is under center, this entire offense is going to have to do a better job to avoid a third-straight setback.
</p>
<p>
Edmonton is also coming off a loss after allowing 17 unanswered points to Hamilton in the fourth quarter of last week’s 37-31 loss as a five-point home favorite. The Eskimos are now 2-2 SU on the year (0-3-1 ATS) after losing just four games all last season. The one positive from last week was the continued high-level of play from quarterback Mike Reilly. He now leads the CFL in both total passing yards (1,580) and touchdown throws (10).

Winnipeg Blue Bombers at Edmonton Eskimo’s Free Pick

I am looking for Edmonton to bounce back in a big way to cover the 10-point spread at home.
