The Eskimos will battle the Stampeders in the West Division Finals on Sunday November 14, 2017 at 4:30 PM EST on the field of McMahon Stadium in Calgary. The lines maker has the hometown Stamps as a -5.5 point spread favorite with the total posted at 52 points.

Edmonton started the season red-hot with seven-straight victories before going stone cold in a six-game losing streak. The Eskimos regained that winning formula just in time to pull off a SU six-game winning streak that includes a big 39-32 victory against Winnipeg last Sunday as three-point road favorites. They have gone 5-1 ATS in this latest tear with the total going OVER in four of the six games.

Credit the play of Mike Reilly at quarterback and a pair of receivers in Brandon Zylstra and Adarius Bowman for last week’s win. Reilly led the CFL in passing yards (5,830) and tied for the most passing touchdowns (30) in the regular season. He added 334 yards and three more scoring strikes to that total against the Blue Bombers. His top two receivers combined for 11 catches for 227 yards and all three passing touchdowns.

Flash back to mid-October with Calgary running its SU winning streak to 11 games while going 8-2-1 ATS and most CFL experts would have has this team as a lock to win the Grey Cup title this season. The Stampeders went on to lose their next three games both SU and ATS while scoring a combined 32 points as opposed to a 32.7-point scoring average through their first 15 games of the year.

<p>
Bo Levi Mitchell led the way for Calgary in the passing game this season with 4,700 passing yards and 23 touchdown throws. Jerome Messam was a work horse in the running game with 1,016 yards and nine touchdowns on 215 carries. The Stampeders also boasted the stoutest defense in the league with a points-allowed average of 19.4 points.

Edmonton Eskimos at Calgary Stampeders Western Division Playoff Prediction

There is no doubt that Edmonton is once again playing at a very high level and while I still have Calgary winning this game SU, I would take the five points on the current spread with the Eskimos covering ATS.
