Saudi Arabia was unlucky enough to be playing with the hosts in the premiere. They looked really uninspired, tired and overall pretty bad. Russia quickly took the upper hand in that match, but it was Saudi Arabia who had the ball possession. Russia took an early lead at the 12th minute and doubled that before the first half was over. Saudi Arabia was eventually destroyed in the second half, as they fell apart towards the end of the match. They conceded two goals in the stoppage time, with the final whistle stopping the Russians at 0-5. Saudi Arabia is now going to have a much more difficult time against Uruguay's star offense.
