Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans Pick - Against the Spread Predictions
Week 14 of the NFL season gets things started with a division clash between the 4-8 Jacksonville Jaguars and the 6-6 Tennessee Titans. Game time from Nissan Stadium is set for 8:20 p.m. on NFL Network.
Jacksonville at Tennessee Overview
Jacksonville was able to halt a straight-up seven-game skid with a tremendous defensive effort in Sunday's 6-0 shutout against the AFC South rival Indianapolis Colts. The Jaguars' record against the spread over this eight-game span is 1-5-2, and the total has stayed UNDER in five of those games. They are 4-8 SU overall with a 4-6-2 record ATS. Jacksonville as a 1-3-1 record ATS in five previous road games.
Cody Kessler got the start at quarterback for the Jaguars, and he completed 18-of-24 passing attempts for 150 yards. With running back Leonard Fournette serving a one-game league suspension for a fight in last week's game against Buffalo, Carlos Hyde carried the ball 13 times for 36 rushing yards. Josh Lambo provided the only points of the game with a pair of field goals. Jacksonville's defense held the Colts' potent passing game to 224 yards.
The Titans stayed in the hunt for a playoff spot in the AFC with Sunday’s 26-22 victory against the New York Jets as heavy 10-point home favorites. They are an even 6-6 both SU and ATS, but they have failed to cover in each of their last three games. The total in that game went OVER the 40.5-point closing line, and it has gone OVER in three of their previous five games. Tennessee is 3-2 ATS at home this season with the total staying UNDER in three of the five games.
Marcus Mariota was one of the big reasons why the Titans trailed the Jets 10-0 after the first quarter with an interception returned for a score and he was a big reason why his team won the game with a game-winning 11-yard touchdown throw with just 36 seconds left on the clock in the fourth quarter. He ended the game with 282 yards passing, and two touchdown throws against the pick six. Mariota also led the offense in rushing with 43 yards on four carries. Tennessee rushed for a total of 130 yards on 22 rushing attempts.

Jaguars at Titans Prediction 12/09/2018
Jacksonville lost to Tennessee 9-6 in Week 3 as a heavy 10-point home favorite so you can see why the total is set so low for Thursday’s rematch. You probably cannot go wrong with a play on the UNDER this time around despite the low number and the SU lean is towards a Tennessee sweep.
The Titans are still in the AFC playoff race, and they have shown a knack for winning games. I still think this will be a three-point game either way, so I am taking Jacksonville and the 4.5 points.
