Stetson Falls 79-74 to North Florida - Recap

Jose Placer scored 20 points leading North Florida to a 79-74 victory over Stetson at Edmunds Center on Friday.

Josh Berenbaum had 15 points for North Florida and Carter Hendricksen chipped in with 14 points. Emmanuel Adedoyin had 9 assists for them, while Jose Placer was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 7 boards.

Stetson got 34 points from Christiaan Jones in a losing cause and another 17 points from Chase Johnston. Giancarlo Valdez contributed 7 assists for them, while Mahamadou Diawara had 6 rebounds.

North Florida led at halftime, 38-37.

Stetson had a 28-27 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
