Sunday's NBA Playoff ATS Picks

Favorites continue their roll through these NBA playoffs, going 3-1 both straight up and against the spread Saturday to up their records to 19-5 SU, 18-6 ATS for this postseason. Are the dogs ever going to make a stand? Sunday offers up four more Game 4's for our betting pleasure. Who do we like for our free NBA playoff picks?

Celtics -8/213 vs. 76ers, 1 pm ET, ABC

Boston leads this best-of-seven series 3-0 after taking Game 3 Friday 102-94. The Celtics trailed Friday 94-92 with just over two minutes to go but scored the last 10 points of the game for the victory and the cover as six-point favorites.

Boston took Game 1 of this series last Monday 109-101, covering at -6.5, then won Game 2 Wednesday 128-101, covering easily at -4.5.

So the Celtics are now 8-3 SU, 6-4-1 ATS since the NBA's re-start a month ago, while Philadelphia is just 4-7 SU, 3-8 ATS.

Boston also now leads the season series with the Sixers four games to three, going 4-3 ATS.

Free NBA Pick: We've totally whiffed on this series, going 0-3 ATS by picking Philadelphia three times. The Sixers had chances to cover both Games 1 and 3 but pissed things away late both times. Now Boston is up to -8, the largest line in this series. Philly might not win this game either, but we gotta believe they'll put up a last-gasp fight. We'll take the Sixers and the points, again.

Clippers -8.5/231 vs. Mavericks, 3:30 pm ET, ABC

Los Angeles leads this series 2-1 after taking Game 3 Friday 130-122. The Clippers led by 14 at halftime Friday, let Dallas get within eight with six minutes to go but hung on for both the win and the money as five-point favorites.

LA won Game 1 of this series last Monday 118-110, covering at -6. The Mavericks then took Game 2 Wednesday 127-114, winning outright as five-point dogs.

Los Angeles is now 7-4 SU, 8-3 ATS since the re-start, while Dallas is only 4-7 SU, 3-8 ATS.

The Clippers are also now 5-1 both SU and ATS vs. the Mavs this season.

On the injury front, Dallas F Luka Doncic is dealing with a very sore ankle, and while he'll probably play Sunday, he won't be 100 percent.

Free NBA Pick: We're 2-1 ATS on this series, backing Los Angeles all three games. The Clippers are just the better team here, and the Mavericks are a bit banged up. We'll go with LA again, minus the points.

Raptors -13/217 vs. Nets, 6:30 pm ET, TNT

Toronto leads this series 3-0 after winning Game 3 Friday 117-92. The Raptors, after struggling with Brooklyn in Game 2, led the Nets by 15 at the half Friday, saw that lead shrink to nine midway through the third quarter but pulled away from there for the W and the cash as 11-point favorites.

Toronto took the opener of this series Monday 134-110, covering at -10, then won Game 2 Wednesday 104-99 but came up short ATS at -11.

The Raptors are now 10-1 SU, 8-3 ATS since the re-start, while Brooklyn is 5-6 SU, 7-4 ATS.

Toronto is also now 6-1 SU, 4-3 ATS against the Nets this season.

Brooklyn was already playing this series severely shorthanded, and now its best 3-point shooter, G Joe Harris, has left the Florida bubble for personal reasons.

Free NBA Pick: We're 2-1 ATS on this series, taking the points with the Nets each of the first two games, then giving the points with the Raptors in Game 3. Now, with a 3-0 lead, we're sure Toronto would love to finish this series off and get some rest. And Brooklyn was probably playing above its head when it played 5-3 during the re-start finish. We'll give the points here again with the Raptors.

Jazz -3.5/215 vs. Nuggets 9 pm ET, TNT

Utah leads this series 2-1 after blowing out Denver in Game 3, Friday 124-87. The Jazz jumped out to a 25-point lead in the second quarter Friday and basically cruised home from there for the victory and the easy cover as one-point favorites.

Denver won the opener of this series last Monday 135-125 in overtime, covering at -5, but Utah then took Game 2 Wednesday 124-105, winning outright as a dog of 3.5 points.

The Jazz have shot a combined 51 percent from the floor over the last two games.

Utah is now 5-5 SU, 6-4 ATS since the re-start, while the Nuggets are only 4-7 SU, 5-6 ATS. But Denver is also 4-2 both SU and ATS vs. the Jazz this season, although two of those victory/covers needed overtime.

Free NBA Pick: We're 1-2 ATS on this series, backing the Nuggets all three games. Denver was the better team during the regular season but ran into buzzsaws Wednesday and Friday, as Utah shot the lights out. However, it's very difficult to shoot that well three games in a row. Our guess is this series will still go seven games, and that's why we're sticking with Denver for our pick on this Game 4.
