Phoenix is also coming off back-to-back victories following the All-Star break. It squeezed-out a 112-107 overtime victory over Denver on Tuesday as a two-point road favorite and then followed that up with Wednesday's 100-94 win over Boston as a 5.5-point favorite at home. The Suns are now 7-3 both SU and ATS in their last 10 games with the total going OVER in six those games. They are 18-9 SU at home with a 15-10-2 record ATS.

Phoenix has had its issues on the other end of the court on defense and it is now ranked 23rd in points allowed (101.8). Balance has been the key to the Suns' success with seven different players scoring at least nine points a game which has helped make up for the loss of Eric Bledsoe, who is out for the season with a knee injury. Goran Dragic has led the way with 20.3 points and Miles Plumlee leads the team in rebounds with 8.5 a game.

Betting Pick
Both teams come into this game less than full strength, but the overall edge in talent still goes to the Trail Blazers. While the final betting line may continue to fluctuate until we know if Lawson is definitely in or out, the pick is with Portland winning SU on the road and covering the spread regardless of whether he plays or not.
