Heat vs. Cavaliers Game Overview
It has been a wild ride for Miami in the month of March with an overall straight-up record of 4-5 (3-5-1 against the spread). It has already lost Chicago, Brooklyn and Denver as a solid favorite and it is coming off a thrilling 113-104 victory over Houston this past Sunday as a five-point favorite at home. The net result of this unexpected roller-coaster ride is a SU record of 45-19 that has the Heat three full games in back of Indiana for the top seed in the East. They are 0-3 both SU and ATS in their last three road games to fall to 19-13 SU (16-15-1 ATS) on the road this year.
Dwyane Wade came up big in Sunday's win over the Rockets with 24 points and seven assists while James added another 24 points as well as five rebounds and five assists. Chris Bosh rounded-out the scoring for the Big Three with 18 points while going 7-for-12 from the field. When these three are clicking on all cylinders like they were in this game, Miami is next to impossible to beat. Unfortunately for Heat fans, this trio has had its share of engine problems as well down the regular season stretch run.

Another season has gone by and once again the Cavaliers find themselves playing the role of spoiler in their final few months of play. After pulling off two surprising road wins over Phoenix and Golden State, they came back to earth in a 102-80 loss to the Clippers as 11.5-point road underdogs this past Sunday. Cleveland is now 2-5 both SU and ATS in its last seven games as part of an overall record of 26-41 SU and 30-27 ATS. The total has stayed UNDER in three of its last five contests.
The betting line for this game is based on Kyrie Irving being unable to go. The Cavaliers' only bona fide star is listed as doubtful with an arm injury he sustained in Sunday's loss. Guard CJ Miles remains questionable for Tuesday night after injuring his ankle in late February. Irving leads the team in points (21.1), assists (6.2) and steals (1.4) and Miles was averaging 10.1 points per game before he went down. Overall, the Cavaliers are 24th in the NBA in scoring with 97 PPG and they are shooting just 42.7 percent from the field.
