Indiana Pacers at Atlanta Hawks Overview
The Pacers enter into this contest off a two-game losing streak capped off most recently by a loss at home three days ago against the Brooklyn Nets. As a 2.5-point favorite, the Nets were upset 108-96 by Brooklyn.
Like their counterparts, the Hawks come into this game on a matching two-game losing streak. Most recently, the Hawks were able to produce a cover on the road at the NBA’s top team the Milwaukee Bucks. As an 11.5-point underdog, Atlanta came in under the number in a 115-107 loss to the Deer on Sunday.
Reasons To Avoid Indiana
On the road this year, the Pacers are a losing team. Outside of Indianapolis, the Pacers sit at 18-22 SU overall. This is a significant disadvantage for Indiana given the fact this game is expected to be settled by a mere bucket. This market will undoubtedly curate a lot of Money Line action given the small number to cover as there will be a lot out of outright plays on both sides of the board. For this reason, takers should be advised not to lay extra juice on a team that has not been profitable away from home this season (17-23 ATS in road games).
Reasons To Back Atlanta
Bench play will be a factor in this game as it can be expected that we will be seeing plenty of Indiana’s reserves in this contest as they prepare for the post-season. With this being said, Atlanta has an edge in bench play that will enable them to close the gap in this tight market. After all, Atlanta’s bench produces 41.5 points per game which is 2.4 points more on average per fixture compared to Indiana’s bench operations which produce 39.1 points per contest.

Pacers at Hawks Prediction 4/10/19
The Pacers have bigger fish to fry as they have a date with Boston in the Playoffs. As for the Hawks, their season comes to an end after this match. The Hawks will look to close this one out on a high note in their own barn before their faithful. Indiana will treat this game as a scrimmage, and there is an excellent chance we won't see them risk exposing their starters to injury. Contrarily, Atlanta will go out with the intention to simply win the game and end their campaign on a positive. I'll pass on the points. Give me the Hawks outright.
