The Nuggets are small underdogs in this game because they are on the road, but they are going to win this game. Denver finishes the job and moves to round 2 with a win on the road.
Sorry Clippers, but this series is over. The Warriors are too good for the Clippers, and they are going to end this series. We are betting the Golden State Warriors to win this game with ease on Wednesday.
11 points may seem like a long swim back, but in this instance, it is a good price to lay here given the fact the Raptors have won two of the games in this series by a minimum of 19 points. I expect the Raptors to pour it on here and never take their foot off the gas. This game will very well likely be over by halftime, and I can see Toronto winning this game by perhaps the most significant margin of this entire series.
The Denver Nuggets are going to win this game at home, and win it by a big margin. Denver has warmed up, and are the better team. Take the Nuggets by 6 Tuesday over the Spurs.
The Pistons are not going to win this game, but they will go off with style. Instead of losing the game by a double-digit margin like they have all throughout this series, the Pistons will keep this one closer and come in under the number as a result.
Look for the Jazz to start quick, as they are not wanting to go home quite yet. But, when push comes to shove, the Rockets are the better team and will finish this series.
For anyone getting their brooms ready, I advise you to hold off. The Pacers will steal a win here and send the series back to Boston where they will “live to fight another day”. I’ll toss away the bucket here and take the Pacers outright.
Houston beat Utah twice in Salt Lake City in the Western Conference semifinals a year ago. The Jazz averaged just 89.5 points per game in those contests. We look for more of the same. Houston wins again on the road.
Quite frankly I am a bit puzzled here that the Sixers are offered at around the same price that they were in Game Three, but I'll take advantage regardless. Philadelphia has shown in the last two games that they are a force to be reckoned with and the superior outfit compared to their counterparts. Sixers win this one again perhaps by maybe a bit of a closer margin, but nonetheless, we are only asked to lay one basket. I don't think Philly will have trouble holding up its end of the deal there. Spot the points.
The Thunder are in a must-win situation. Oklahoma City has too much talent to go down this easy in the first round. Look for Oklahoma City to get in the win column with a 10+ point win. Bet the Thunder on Friday night.
It's "do or die" time now for the Pacers as they simply cannot afford to go down 3-0 and have any hopes of coming from behind to win this series. I expect the Pacers to play with a sense of urgency and hone their home court advantage to get the win. Since we are only asked to lay a basket, the Pacers are a real bargain play as they could build another significant lead and this time they won’t relinquish it.
I can trust the Sixers laying a bucket and getting a cover. The Nets will be seeing a lot of Money Line action here, but I must remind takers that Brooklyn is 15-26 SU against teams with a winning record this season. They are not a good outright choice here, and for that reason alone I'll take the Sixers.
We like the Nuggets to grab this win, despite being on the road. We are going to bet the Nuggets +3.5 in this game.
Detroit can simply not afford to go down 2-0 against the Bucks as that would assuredly spell the end for the Pistons with two more games guaranteed to go back to Milwaukee in this series after that. I expect Rock City to play with a sense of urgency and throw the kitchen sink at the Deer. Will they win? I don't think so. Cover though? Absolutely. Take the points.
Targeting overreactions is what we are all about. Fading zig-zags is another strategy that we champion. For those that fancy Philadelphia in this spot, takers can rejoice that they are on the right side of both these equations. The Sixers respond with fury and level the series with style. Lay the points.
The Bucks will use this opening game as an opportunity to remind the masses that they are indeed a force to be reckoned with in their own stead. Milwaukee will dominate this contest and take the Pistons wire-to-gate. This match has all the makings of a statement game for the Bucks, and they could win this one by 20-plus points easily.
Brooklyn may have gotten hot at just the right time as they will be stepping into this playoff with a bit more swag given their present winning streak. The Nets were one of the biggest turnarounds in 2018 after hovering near the basement for two seasons previously. Brooklyn knows they can play with Philadelphia concerning the ebbs and flows of this series and they will come in under the number here in Game One.
The Dallas Mavericks are finishing their season. The San Antonio Spurs are looking ahead to the postseason. Look for San Antonio to finish strong and put the Mavericks away. We are betting the San Antonio Spurs.
The Pacers have bigger fish to fry as they have a date with Boston in the Playoffs. As for the Hawks, their season comes to an end after this match. The Hawks will look to close this one out on a high note in their own barn before their faithful. Indiana will treat this game as a scrimmage, and there is an excellent chance we won't see them risk exposing their starters to injury. Contrarily, Atlanta will go out with the intention to simply win the game and end their campaign on a positive. I'll pass on the points. Give me the Hawks outright.
You can call it playing for pride if you must, but the Knicks will win this game. New York has a rubric to follow if they want to repeat success against the Bulls as they were able to get a convincing week just over a week ago against them. While the victory means nothing for New York, it is an excellent way to conclude what was an otherwise precocious season for the Knickerbockers. Moreover, Chicago has won more games on the road this season at home as they are just 9-31 SU on their own floor. So by no means is this an unwinnable game for New York. The Bulls are not a candidate to be laying points to anyone.
