The Charlotte Bobcats will look to extend their current four-game winning streak this Friday night at the AT&T Center when they face the San Antonio Spurs. Tip-off is set for 8:30 p.m. (ET) and the game will be available on NBA League Pass.

Point Spread: San Antonio -9.5
Total Line: 201
Bobcats vs. Spurs Game Overview
Charlotte is still three games below .500 with an overall straight-up record of 27-30, but it is making a move in the Eastern Conference standings with four-straight victories as part of a 7-3 run in its last 10 games. The Bobcats have gone 7-2-1 against the spread during this same stretch of games and the total has gone OVER in five of their last seven outings.
One of their three losses during the last 10 games was a tight 104-100 setback to San Antonio as 5.5-point home underdogs on Feb. 8. Al Jefferson had a big night in that game with 26 points and nine rebounds and Gerald Henderson added 23 points. In Charlotte's 92-89 victory last Saturday against Memphis as a three-point home underdog, Kemba Walker came through with a game-high 31 points to pace the win. While they have solid balance with these three capable scorers, defense remains the Bobcats' strongest suit. They are currently ranked fifth in the NBA in points allowed (96.8).

San Antonio's recent nine-game rodeo road trip finally came to an end with a respectable record of 6-3 SU (5-4 ATS). This past Wednesday, the Spurs finally played a home game and beat Detroit 120-110, but they could not cover the half point as 10.5-point favorites. The net result is an overall record of 41-16 SU (27-30 ATS) that has them just game and a half behind Oklahoma City for the top spot in the Western Conference standings. They are 10-17 ATS at home this season and the total has gone OVER in eight of their last 10 games overall.
The Spurs have been plagued with injuries all season long and their leading scorer Tony Parker remains of the lineup indefinitely, but they continue to find ways to win games. They are ranked ninth in the NBA in scoring with 104 points per game and ranked sixth in points allowed; giving-up an average of 98.1 PPG. In Parker's absence, Patty Mills has helped fill the void. He scored 32 points against the Bobcats earlier this month and he has put up at least 20 points in four of his last nine games.

Charlotte vs. San Antonio Betting Trends
The Bobcats are 3-1-1 ATS in their last five games following a SU win and 4-0-1 ATS in their last five games against the Southwest Division. The total has gone OVER in 13 of their last 19 road games.
The Spurs have now failed to cover in their last four home games and they are 2-6 ATS in their last eight games following an ATS loss. The total has gone OVER in seven of their last nine games following a SU win.
Head-to-head in this series, the favorite is 11-5-2 ATS in the last 18 meetings and the total has stayed UNDER in 11 of the last 17 meetings, but it went OVER the 191.5-point line the last time they played.

Betting Pick
Charlotte comes into this matchup in excellent form and the Spurs have had trouble covering at home all season long so I would have to lean towards the Bobcats and the points in this one. A better play would be the OVER to take advantage of a very favorable total line and the outside chance that Parker returns to San Antonio's lineup on Friday night.
