Also, Game 1 played under a total of 8.5 while Game 2 pushed a total of nine.

Game 3 Pitching Match-Up

Anderson is making his fourth start of this postseason. First, he held Milwaukee scoreless through five innings of a 3-0 Atlanta victory; then he gave up two runs in three innings of a 5-4 Braves win over the Dodgers; then last Saturday, he held Los Angeles to one run through four frames of that NLCS-clinching 4-2 Atlanta win. So through 12 innings this postseason, Anderson has allowed three runs and nine hits, with four walks and 12 strikeouts.

The Braves played 13-11 with Anderson during the regular season, and they're 3-0 with him in these playoffs.

This will be Anderson’s first career start against Houston.

Garcia is also making his fourth start of these playoffs. First, he gave up five runs in just 2 2/3 innings of a 12-6 Astros loss to the White Sox; then, he got clipped for five runs in just one-plus inning of a 9-5 Houston loss to Boston. But one week ago, in the ALCS clincher, he held the Red Sox scoreless on one hit through 5 2/3 innings of a 5-0 Astros win.

Houston played 16-12 with Garcia during the regular season, and it's 1-2 with him this postseason.

This will be Garcia’s first career start against Atlanta.

Braves vs. Astros Predictions

We give Anderson a slight edge in the pitching match-up, but Houston owns the best line-up in the Majors against right-handed pitching. The Astros bullpen has also been pretty good this post-season, and Houston's getting an underdog price. So we like the Astros to take this Game 3.
