<b>Set-up </b>
</p>
<p>
In the first game of this series yesterday the White Sox won their 2nd in a row with an 8-6 win over the White Sox. The White Sox scored eight runs on nine hits, and the Orioles scored six runs on eight hits.
</p>
<p>
The White Sox had lost seven in a row before winning their last two games. They are out of the playoff picture, and they have the 4th fewest wins in the Majors. Chicago only totaled 16 runs in their seven-game losing streak and they have completed 12 runs in winning their last two games.
</p>
<p>
The Orioles have had a season to forget, as they have the worst record in the bigs and they are the only team in baseball that has triple-digits in losses. Baltimore has lost seven of their last eight and 11 of their last 13 games.
</p>
<p>
This season the White Sox rank 23rd in runs scored and 25th in team ERA and the Orioles rank 27th in runs scored and 30th in team ERA.

<b>Head-To-Head </b>

<h2>
Pitching Match-Up<br />
</h2>
<p>
<b>Chicago: </b>Reynaldo Lopez (5-9 4.22 ERA)<br />
<b>Baltimore: </b>Yefry Ramirez (1-5 5.94 ERA)
</p>
<p></p>
<p>
In Lopez's last start he had a great one not giving up any earned runs and only allowing two hits, but got no support in a 1-0 loss to the L.A. Angels. The White Sox had won his previous four starts, and in his last three starts, he has not allowed more than one earned run. This is Lopez's first start of the season against the Orioles and his only career start facing them was in the 2016 season where he was not sharp giving up four earned runs in only two 2/3 innings.
</p>
<p>
Lopez struck out 10 batters in his last start, and he has only reached double-digits in strikeouts in two outings this season. While the White Sox have won four of Lopez's previous five starts, they have lost five of his previous six starts after a Quality Appearance in his last outing.
</p>
<p>
In Ramirez’s last appearance he came out of the bullpen going two innings and did not allow any earned runs and only allowed one hit. This will be his first start since August 19th where he was rocked for seven earned runs in three innings in an 8-0 loss to the Cleveland Indians. The Orioles have lost his last six appearances, and in his previous four relief efforts after his last start he gave up two earned runs in seven innings of work.
</p>
<p>
This season in eight home appearances, including five starts, Ramirez is 1-2 with an ERA of 3.24 holding opponents to a batting average of .223. Ramirez has not allowed a HR in his last five appearances.

Chicago at Baltimore MLB Prediction 09/15/2018

While the White Sox have not had a good season, to say the least, they won the first game of this series and had won 13 of their last 18 road games. With the Orioles previous loss, they became only the 15th team in the history of baseball to suffer 105 losses in their first 147 games. Lopez has been lights out in his last three starts, and while Ramirez has pitched well out of the bullpen in his last few appearances, he was rocked in his previous start. Lopez will have another good start in this game, and unlike his last one, he will get some run support. He will lead the White Sox to a win in this game, and they will go for the series sweep tomorrow.
