Bulldogs vs. Tigers Set-Up<br />
</h2>
<p>
Georgia rides a six-game winning streak into Saturday, after bombing Georgia Tech last week 52-7. The Bulldogs led that game 17-0 after one quarter, let the Yellowjackets get within 17-7 at the half, then scored touchdowns on four of their first five possessions of the second half to pull away for the victory and the cash as 28-point favorites.
</p>
<p>
For the day, UGA out-gained Georgia Tech 500-139, made 26 first downs to just seven for the Wreck, and won the ground battle 219-99. The 'Dawgs defense also forced Tech into 13 punts.
</p>
<p>
UGA has out-rushed each of its 12 opponents this season, seven by at least 100 yards.
</p>
<p>
Since suffering its only loss of this season to South Carolina back in October, Georgia has beaten Kentucky, Florida, Missouri, Auburn, Texas A&M, and Georgia Tech. The Bulldogs didn't score more than 27 points in any of those games until last week, but they also didn't allow more than 17 to any of those opponents.
</p>
<p>
At 11-1 overall, Georgia sits at No. 4 in this week's CFP standings. A win Saturday and they're in, but a loss and they're out.

LSU, meanwhile, surfs a 13-game winning streak into Saturday, after trashing Texas A&M last week 50-7. The Tigers scored touchdowns on their first four possessions of the game, led 31-0 at the half and cruised from there for the win and the cover as 17-point favorites.
</p>
<p>
On the night LSU out-gained the Aggies 553-169, made 31 first downs to 12 for A&M, held a 35:25 advantage in time of possession, and won the turnover battle 3-0.
</p>
<p>
Two weeks ago, the Tigers beat Arkansas 56-20, and three weeks ago, they beat Ole Miss 58-37. So LSU has hit the 50-point mark three straight games, and six games on the season.
</p>
<p>
At 12-0 overall, Louisiana State sits at No. 2 in this week's CFP standings. The Tigers would undoubtedly like to close out their regular season with a conference championship, but even if they lose this game, they're probably in the CFP.
</p>
<p>
These teams met most recently last season, a 36-16 LSU victory in Baton Rouge. The Tigers out-gained Georgia that day 475-322 in winning outright as a seven-point home dog.

Georgia vs LSU Prediction 12/7/19

LSU owns the advantage on offense with Burrow and his various weapons, but Georgia holds the better defense. And in cases like this, we like betting the better defense. The Tigers may well win this game and maybe even the national championship, but in this spot, we're taking Georgia and the points.
