San Francisco scored on six of its first eight drives, Jerry Rice caught three touchdown passes and the 49ers won their fourth Super Bowl championship with a 55-10 victory over Denver. The Super Bowl XXIII MVP grabbed seven Montana passes for 148 yards and the 49ers dominated every facet of the game: first downs (28-12), net yards (461-167), and time of possession (39:31-20:29).
