Super Bowl 2 Game Recap

Make it three NFL titles in a row and two Super Bowls in a row for the Green Bay Packers.

Green Bay won Super Bowl II, again manhandling the champions of the AFL, this time the Oakland Raiders in a 33-14 game.

Bart Starr was chosen the game's most valuable player for the second time, going 13-for-24 for 202 yards and a TD. He guided a Packer offense that took control early and did not let up after building a 16-7 halftime edge.

Don Chandler booted four field goals and cornerback Herb Adderley picked a Raider pass and ran it back 60 yards for a touchdown.

Super Bowl II was the final game for legendary Vince Lombardi, who retired as Green Bay's after nine years, six Western Conference championships, five NFL championships, and two Super Bowls.
