Super Bowl 10 Game Recap
Lynn Swann had suffered such a severe concussion in the AFC title game, that few expected him to make much impact in Super Bowl X.
The Steeler wideout had different plans. He caught only four passes, but they went for 163 yards, including a game-winning 64-yarder in the fourth quarter as Pittsburgh defended its Super Bowl crown with a 21-17 victory over Dallas in Super Bowl X.
Pittsburgh's Steel Curtain defense was just as important, as it killed a Dallas rally with an interception by Glen Edwards in the endzone on the final play of the game.
Dallas got two touchdowns from its star QB Roger Staubach, who fired scoring strikes to Drew Pearson (29 yards) and Percy Howard (34 yards). The Steelers scored on two touchdown passes from Super Bowl X MVP Terry Bradshaw, one to Randy Grossman (seven yards) and the bomb to Swann.
Final Score: 21-17
