Offshore Sports Betting Review Site

First-time Super Bowl bettors from Canada have a terrific new resource to consult before making their decision on where to bet the big game this weekend.

A new sportsbook review site that focuses on companies that accept Canadian sport bettors launched Monday, just in time for Super Sunday. It's TopSportsbooks.ca and it's the Canada-focused spin-off of the TopSportsBooks.com which launched in the fall of 2009.

"It's a time of year when a lot of casual football fans go online looking to make a wager on the big game and its important that they find a safe place," said Rich Crew, the longtime handicapping voice of SportsBettingStats.com.

While sister site TopSportsbooks.com was launched in September, the new site was earmarked for arrive before Super Bowl and before the Winter Olympics, when more Canadian and international visitors would be hitting online sites.

A total of seven Canadian-facing companies are reviewed on the site, ranked in 10 categories ranging from quality of website feel and navigation to regulatory structure to bonus rules. Not surprisingly, you'll find many with generous Super Bowl betting bonuses this week in the days leading up to the Colts Saints battle in Miami.

The books featured on the site include Bet365.com, PinnacleSports.com, bodog, 5 Dimes, Sportsbook.com and SportsInteraction.com, which is based near Montreal on Kahnawake - a native community straddling the Quebec and USA borders.

The sites are also judged on how quickly they pay out winners and how they customize the online experience to Canadian and overseas customers.
