NFL Last Call for Contests

The NFL is back on Thursday night so you've only got a few days to scour the web and get in on as many pick'em and handicapping contests as possible. Here are three from some of our favorite sportsbooks to get you started.

At VIP, get the football season started right with their $1,000,000 NFL Gridiron Contest. The game is quite simple. Pick the winners ATS every week for a shot at weekly, monthly and overall season prizes. For a shot at the $1,000,000, all you have to do is beat all of your fellow handicappers one week. The top finishers from the first 16 weeks meet up in Week 17. If you can make it to the elite and pick all the correct teams ATS in Week 17, VIP will reward you with $1,000,000.

Over at Mysportsbook.com, they're giving you two ways to turn your football prognosticating knowledge into cash. The first game they're offering is the $1,000 Pigskin Payout. The Payout is a weekly pick'em contest where the top three finishers get a share of the payout. The top handicapper each week pulls in $500 in v-chips; second in line gets $350; while third place is paid $150. Mysportsbook.com is also offering the $100,000 weekly NFL challenge throughout the season. This game will cost you $25 to play, but it is definitely worth it if you know how to pick winners. Your $25 is your wager on a selection of 13 teams. If all 13 of your teams win, you cash out with $100,000.

Our last stop on the football contests tour is BetUS. At BetUS, they're offering two football games this season. The first game is the $25,000 NFL Pick'em Contest. To play all you have to do each week is make your winning ATS picks. The player with the highest number of correct picks each week gets a $1,000 free play. Second place receives a $500 free play, while third makes off with a $250 free play. At the end of the season, the player with the most correct picks could see their account grow by $25,000.

The other BetUS football game goes every Monday. The NFL Monday Night Quarters Contest focuses on the weekly Monday nighter. Every week you make your picks for points spreads and over/under for every quarter in the Monday night game. The player who picks the most correct out of eight bets receives a $250 free play.
