Pitching Match Up<br />
</h2>
<p>
Houston: Dallas Keuchel (7-12, 4.76 ERA) Baltimore: Yovani Gallardo (4-4, 5.18 ERA)
</p>
<p>
Dallas Keuchel goes for the Astros today and in his last outing he was not sharp giving up six earned runs in five innings in an 8-5 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals. Houston has lost four of his last five starts. The Astros are 2-5 in Keuchel’s last seven road starts facing a team with a winning record. Before his last start Keuchel had a complete game shutout, but in his start before that, which was his last on the road, he gave up seven earned runs in five innings in an 11-0 blowout loss to the Detroit Tigers.
</p>
<p>
Yovani Gallardo gets the starting call for the Orioles and in his last outing he went five innings and gave up three earned runs in a 5-3 loss to the Boston Red Sox. The Orioles have lost three of his last four starts, but he has not been bad in those outings with Baltimore only totaling four runs in the three losses. The Orioles are 5-1 in Gallardo’s last six home starts.

Houston Astros vs. Baltimore Orioles Prediction

The Astros’ offense has been on fire in the last two games of this series, and they have had success against the Orioles’ starter Yovani Gallardo with the current roster hitting a combined .312 against him. Houston starter Dallas Kuechel hasn’t been at his best in recent starts getting lit up in two of his last three and the Astros have lost his last three against the Birds, but his pitching performance wasn’t to blame. Baltimore’s stats against lefties are poor and with the way Houston is hitting the ball well lay the small number.
