Saturday night to close out CFL week 4 we have the BC Lions travelling to Saskatchewan to take on the Roughriders at Mosaic Stadium on Taylor Field. The odds maker has listed the winless home side as a small -2 favorite on the point spread line. The total wagering is being offered with an O/U line of 50 points.

The Lions early two-game winning streak both SU and ATS as underdogs was short lived with last week’s disappointing 25-14 loss to Toronto as 6.5-point home favorites. BC turned to veteran quarterback Travis Lulay in that game for a struggling Jonathon Jennings, but he could overcome a 22-6 deficit in the fourth quarter. It will probably have to turn to its defense to win this game after allowing an average of 15.3 points through its first three games.

A rough 0-2 SU start for the Roughriders comes on the heels of last season’s SU record of 3-15. They did take Edmonton to overtime in a tough 39-36 loss as nine-point road underdogs last week, but Saskatchewan is just 4-12 ATS in its last 16 home games. Darian Durant as played well at quarterback with 627 yards passing and five touchdown throws in his first two games.
