Betting line favors Mayweather vs. Judah

The IBF Welterweight title is on the line Saturday and if you're looking to bet on the weekend's biggest fight, you might have lucked into some excellent value. Of course, that depends on who you talk to and what you think is solid betting line value.

Floyd Mayweather Jr., generally considered the best pound-for-pound fighter on the planet, is 35-0 and facing Zab Judah. Yes, the same brash-talking, haymaker-throwing Judah who "won" this title by losing to Carlos Baldomir.

When they meet at the Thomas & Mack Centre in Las Vegas, the folks who set the betting line at Pinnacle Sports will have Mayweather as a hefty -526 favorite. They also don't seem to think the suddenly-silent Judah will go the distance, since it's -123 to bet on this fight lasting less than 10.5 rounds.

Don King spoke about Zab Judah's refusal to talk about the fight last week and surmised that he's training so hard, he'll probably kill Mayweather.

"The guy is mad, I guess. He don't want to talk. He's so upset and he's so focused that he's going to do what he's got to do. And, some of the reporters should take this as a hint. A word to the wise -- Zab is going after Floyd with a relentless dedication and commitment to destroy him."
