Weird Super Bowl Prop Bets

The oddsmakers always seems to deliver some interesting Super Bowl props and Super Bowl XLVI is no exception. At most books you can wager on the national anthem, the halftime show, the post-game celebration and a few other weird things in between.

Since the national anthem will officially get things started we'll start with that on our prop review. This year's anthem singer is Kelly Clarkson and the oddsmakers are expecting her to get through the song rather quickly. Last year when Christina Aguleira flubbed the anthem the over/under for the length of the song was set at one minute and 54 seconds. This year Clarkson's Over/Under time at Bovada is one minute and 34 seconds.

You can also wager on whether Clarkson will forget or omit a word from the song, like Aguilera did a year ago. Other Clarkson props available include what she will be wearing and whether or not her bare belly will be shown while she is singing.

This year's halftime show will feature Madonna for some reason. We guess it can't be any worse than last year's Black Eyed Peas travesty. We hope not anyway. At least you can put up with the Madonna sideshow by betting some halftime show props.
