Despite all the hoopla over the commercials, the halftime show and the festivities off the field Super Bowl Sunday is really all about the game. Since the game matters most your Super Bowl props should include some game props as well as your fun national anthem and Gatorade props.
The biggest names in the game are the quarterbacks Tom Brady and Eli Manning and they both have a ton of props on the list at Bovada. Let's start with Manning. You can bet on all Manning's stats from completions, to passing yards, to touchdown passes. At Bovada they've set Manning's passing yards total 315.5 yards with the Over slightly favored at -125. During the regular season Manning averaged 308.3 yards per game and he's gone Over 315.5 yards in all three of the Giants playoff victories.
For Brady his passing yards prop total was set at 320.5 with the Over also favored at -120. Brady averaged an amazing 327.2 yards per game this season but in the AFC Championship against Baltimore he was held to 239 passing yards.
Since the Patriots and Giants are both such strong passing teams we have to look at some receivers props too. Picking two from each side we'll go with Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks from the Giants and Wes Welker and Rob Gronkowski for New England.
Cruz and Nicks both put up huge numbers this season with Cruz being one of the biggest surprises in the NFL. At Bovada Cruz's receiving yards prop total was set at 89.5 with the Over favored at -130. Be wary with this one though as Cruz may have put up 142 yards against San Francisco, but he was held under 89.5 in the Giants other playoff games.
For Nicks his receiving yards prop total was set at 85.5 with the Over at -125 favorite. Nicks had 55 receiving yards versus the 49ers but topped 100 in the Giants other playoff wins.
Welker led the league in receptions during the regular season and averaged 98.1 yards per game. His prop total was set at 82.5. In his last three games Welker has not surpassed 55 yards
Gronkowski was a touchdown machine during the regular season and he also averaged 82.9 yards per game. He is dealing with a sprained ankle, but his receiving yards prop total is still high at 80.5.
