The Oklahoma Sooners will look to keep their Big 12 title hopes alive with a victory over the undefeated Kansas State Wildcats this Saturday afternoon in this conference clash at Bill Snyder Stadium. The kick-off is slated for 3:30 p.m. (ET) and the game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN.

Oklahoma’s shocking 41-38 loss to Texas Tech as a 29-point home favorite this past Saturday sent it tumbling down the BSC rankings, putting a serious dent in its chance to play for a national championship. The previously unbeaten Sooners are now 6-1 straight-up on the year and 4-3 against the spread. They are 3-0 SU (2-1 ATS) on the road and the total has gone ‘over’ in four of the seven games overall.

The normally stout Oklahoma defense was torched by the Red Raiders for 572 yards of total offense including 452 yards through the air. Before this loss, the most points this unit surrendered was 28 back on Sept. 24 in a 10-point win over Missouri as a 20-point home favorite. The Sooners real strength still lies in an offense that is ranked seventh in the nation in scoring with an average of 44.3 points a game.

The Wildcats are 4-0 SU (3-1 ATS) at home this season and the total has gone ‘over’ in four of their seven games as well.

The most impressive aspect of this Kansas State team has been its ability to run over teams with offense that is averaging 213.9 yards a game on the ground. It has been a two-headed attack with Collin Klein and John Hubert combining for 1,307 yards on 173 carries. Klein leads the team in scoring with 14 rushing touchdowns.

The Sooners are 5-1 ATS in their last six games following an ATS loss and 19-7 ATS in their last 26 games following a SU loss. The total has gone ‘over’ in five of their last seven conference games.

The Wildcats are 4-0 ATS in their last four games as underdogs and the total has gone ‘over’ in nine of their last 13 games as underdogs at home.

Head-to-head in this series, Oklahoma has won seven of the last eight games SU, but Kansas State is 4-2 ATS in the last six. The total has gone ‘over’ in the last three meetings.
