They say it's better to give than to receive. But equal amounts of both are what truly make the world go around. Everyone here in the Raine family wishes you the best of the holidays, and we hope our 4-1 ATS record over the first five bowl games (the only miss was the under at the EagleBank Bowl) makes it a little easier for you to put presents under the tree this year.

We've got a busy schedule coming up, so we'll be picking all the bowl games between Dec. 27-31 inclusive in capsule form. Ho Ho Ho, here we go…

Meineke Car Care Bowl: West Virginia vs. North Carolina (+1.5)
The Tar Heels are underrated coming out of the ACC; West Virginia is 4-7 ATS.

Champs Sports Bowl: Wisconsin vs. Florida State (-5.5)
Sticking with the ACC theme. Wisconsin needed overtime to beat Cal Poly SLO.

Emerald Bowl: Miami-Fla. vs. California (-8)
Miami has problems on defense, and Cal is 9-3 ATS this year.

Independence Bowl: Northern Illinois (PK) vs. Louisiana Tech
The MAC was stronger than the WAC this year. Tech lost to Army.

Papajohns.com Bowl: N.C. State vs. Rutgers: OVER 55
We're punting on the pointspread. Both teams have scored in bunches of late.

Alamo Bowl: Missouri vs. Northwestern (+12.5)
Too many points for the Tigers and their dubious defense to be laying.

Humanitarian Bowl: Maryland (+2) vs. Nevada
Fear the Turtle. The WAC is having a down year, and Nevada lost to New Mexico State.

Texas Bowl: Western Michigan vs. Rice: OVER 73.5
Great offense, lousy defense, and a combined 16-7 record for the over.

Holiday Bowl: Oklahoma State vs. Oregon (+3)
We'll follow the post-Xmas underdog trend in this close contest on the West Coast.

Armed Forces Bowl: Houston vs. Air Force (+4)
The Falcons (+2.5) won this matchup in Dallas in Week 3. Houston is 4-7 ATS.

Sun Bowl: Oregon State vs. Pittsburgh (+3)
This is a ledown game for the Beavers. Pitt has four upset victories this season.

Music City Bowl: Boston College (-3.5) vs. Vanderbilt
Vandy's 1-6 SU and 2-5 ATS in its last seven. The Eagles have the nation's top defense in efficiency.

Insight Bowl: Kansas vs. Minnesota: OVER 57.5
Tough call. Eight of Minny's last nine non-con games went over.

Chick-fil-A Bowl: LSU vs. Georgia Tech (-4)
Easy call. LSU is 2-9 ATS this year; Tech is 7-2-1 ATS.
