The Vanderbilt Commodores will be looking to bounce back from a loss their last time out when they take on the Florida Gators, who are still stinging from an upset loss of their own, this Tuesday night. Tip-off from the Stephen C. O’Connell Center in Gainesville is set for 9 p.m. (ET) and the game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN.

Vanderbilt’s brief three-game winning streak, including an 89-70 victory over No.24 St. Mary’s a week ago as a five-point home favorite, came to an abrupt end with an 89-78 loss to Arkansas as a 13-point home favorite this past Saturday. Florida’s three-game run in the conference was also curtailed with a 71-64 loss to Mississippi State on Saturday as a six-point road favorite. This followed a thrilling 104-91 OT victory over Georgia as a three-point road underdog this past Tuesday. The Gators are now 16-5 SU but just 7-10 ATS. They are 5-2 SU in SEC play.

There are four players averaging in double-figures for Florida led by junior guard Erving Walker’s 14.4 points a game. Sophomore guard Kenny Boynton is averaging 13 points a game and senior forward Chandler Parsons is averaging 10.3 points and a team-high 7.3 rebounds a game. Senior center Vernon Macklin, who is averaging 11.3 points and 6.3 rebounds, helps round-out a very productive and experienced lineup.

The Gators are shooting 45.8 percent from the floor, but are hitting just 33.7 percent of their three-point shots and 65.3 percent of their foul shots. They are scoring an average of 71 points a game, which is eight points a game less than Vanderbilt, but matchup well in rebounds with 39 a game.
